one on one time<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

1. Schedule in time for the two of you<\/strong>
Your big day will be over in a second. Without knowing it you have a perfectly planned out timeline but not time for yourselves. Of course you want to greet every guest, see the location and celebrate with everyone. My advice: schedule 30 minutes in after the ceremony for just the two of you. This could either be you reading the vows to each other if you want to do that privately or during a couple shoot.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

2. Private Last Dance?
<\/span><\/strong>It is getting late and the evening comes to a close. You have spent the whole day with friends and family, you were exicted and ecstatic. The DJ now wants everyone to go out to send you off and you have a private last dance for yourselves. Could a wedding end any better than that?<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

3. First Look\u00a0
<\/b>A first look has become more popular in the past couple of years and maybe you already know it. Traditionally, the couple sees each other for the first time at the altar. However, if you want that moment to be more intimate, I recommend doing a first look. Only the photographer (and videographer) is present as you get to see each other. I can guarantee you that walking down the aisle will be just as special and magical afterwards as without the ifrst look.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

4. Unplugged Ceremony
<\/b>One of the trends I have loved is seeing signs at the ceremony which say \"Unplugged Ceremony\". You can let your guests know that you have hired a photographer and that they will take fantastic pictures so that your guests can be in the moment with you. If you still have people that cannot wait to take pictures of you, you could have one minute of picture taking before you walk down the aisle or right after.<\/span><\/p>

5. Private Vows
<\/b>When doing the first look, many couples also opt for private vows. You can either do that before you see each other and do it blindly or right after the big reveal. Another idea would be to do it after the ceremony during a couple shoot. Just make sure your make up artist is still close to touch you up afterwards as tears are bound to flow ;)<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

6.<\/span> A Second Dress?
<\/span><\/strong>If you get married in one dress, that should be enough, right? Absolutely not! A simpler, flowier dress or a jumpsuit for the party is so perfect to really be able to jump and dance around. Another benefit is that you get to reset again and touch up the makeup or the hair. Speaking of a second dress - make sure that the men also plan for a second shirt.<\/span><\/p>

7. Extravagant Send-Offs<\/strong>
You might know the typical send-off with some sparklers but how about you go totally overboard? Fireworks, loud music, a fog machine and a vintage car can all be used to make your send-off just that much more celebratory. And who says that you shouldn't think grander than driving? How about a flight in a private jet to your honeymoon or a helicopter picking you up and transporting you to your hotel? If you are thinking that that is your style, get in touch immediately so I can be part of it. ;)<\/span><\/p>

8. Adults Only
<\/span><\/strong>This is still somewhat controversial but take this article as a sign if you are thinking about it and are unsure. Keeping your wedding to adults only has many benefits and every couple has their own reason on why they decide to go that route. Always keep in mind: it is your<\/strong> day! Plan your wedding the way that you imagine it to be.<\/span><\/p>

9. Your Big Entrance
<\/span><\/strong>I always recommend doing it and it is always a hit: being celebrated when announced as a newly-wed couple at dinner! Your guests are sat down, the DJ plays your song and you enter as married couple for the first time. The atmosphere always is through the roof and dinner starts with a bang!<\/span><\/p>

10. Wedding Weekend
<\/strong>Instead of planning in one day for your wedding, why not make it a wedding weekend? Your schedule could look something like this: On Friday you start with a Welcome Dinner where everyone gets to mix and mingle. Saturday is your wedding day and everything runs smoothly until 1am. Then you all go to bed and start the next day with a brunch and end it with a pool party. How does that sound?<\/span><\/p>
