I am Valerie and I am a wedding planner from Cincinnati specialised in planning your dream destination wedding to Europe. Whether it be Italy, France, Spain, Greece or somewhere else – let’s elevate your wedding by hiring me as your wedding planner.
You as a couple are always my priority. Thus, it is of the utmost importance to create customised weddings and events. A streamlined, transparent and custom-tailored planning phase is therefore what will give you an elevated experience. I only work with selected vendors and do not get any commission. The trust that you put in me by letting me take care of one of the most special days of your lived is being returned by always delivering professional support in all matters.
My journey to becoming a successful wedding planner in Cincinnati started in Germany where I am originally from. I did my training with one of Germany’s best wedding planners (Avantgarde Academy). This training as well as my teaching profession prepared me perfectly for any organisational, planning or creative challenges.
I have worked with many international couples, based in the US, France and the UK. My unique background allows me to ensure your European wedding dreams are fulfilled. Not only do I have experience in planning and executing weddings in Europe, I was also brought up and have lived there most of my life. You will work closest with your wedding planner in your planning journey. I am a great fit if you are looking for someone that is quick to communicate, lives in your time zone and has experience in Europe.

A wedding planner for luxury weddings usually costs about 15-20% of your total budget. We take about a year to plan elaborate weddings and often go above and beyond to make our couples' dreams come true. However, there are different factors affecting the cost of a planner. Are you planning a destination wedding, am I there only the day-of, how much planning do you need? I work with a fixed rate so that your budget does not play a factor in my work.
Simply put: No. Every couple has different standards and words like luxury and expensive mean different things to everyone. What others spend on their wedding day only has to be justified by them. It is a once in a lifetime event and a day you will look back to forever. Why not go all out and hire the dancers for your ceremony? I would, however, like to point out that you should absolutely never go into debt for your wedding. At the end of the day, a wedding is about you as a couple.
The most important aspect of a luxury wedding is guest experience. How does the guest see the couple, are they cold or hot, is there enough to drink and to eat - everything should be looked at through the eyes of your guests. The more luxe a wedding is, the more entertainment and decoration we usually find which all comes down to how the guest experiences your day. Luxury wedding planners take that into account when planning.
