Castle, hotel or barn - the venue is crucial when it comes to the wedding planning process. Are you interested in getting married in a city with a cool skyline but don't want to pay for New York City? Meet Frankfurt - a financial hub in Germany, located on the river Main and perfect for you destination wedding. Let me tell you about cool venues in and around the small Manhattan.
Burg Schwarzenstein
Burg Schwarzenstein is one of the most exclusive castles in Frankfurts surroundings. Located in the beautiful Rheingau, the castle offers a great mix between historic flair and modernity. You can enjoy your dinner in the glass pavillion and in summer also on the terrace. You can not only spend your wedding day on the castle but also the days before and after your celebration.
Auf der Burg könnt ihr nicht nur eure Hochzeit feiern, sondern auch die Tage davor und danach entspannt verbringen.
Burg Reichenstein
Situated above the Rhine you will find Burg Reichenstein. With its gorgeous castle garden overlooking the river you will get married here in true historic style. The rooms of the hotel ensure that you and your guests make it home safely after partying the night away. In between your ceremony and dinner your guests can take part in a tour around the castle or explore the grounds themselves.
Zwischen der Trauung und dem Dinner können eure Gäste an einer Burgführung teilnehmen oder sich bei einem Glas Sekt unterhalten.
Schlosshotel Kronberg
Built for Empress Victoria, Schlosshotel Kronberg is perfect for any couple who wants to feel like true royalty on their wedding. Whether you want to get married in their historic library, the rose garden or the outside terrace overlooking the golf course - the possibilites are endless at this venue. Have your dinner in one of their royal salons to complement the wedding day.
The venue is located about 25 minutes north of Frankfurt.
Schloss Romrod
The "most central chateau" of Germany is about an hour away from Frankfurt International Airport and is therefore ideal for international couples. The special feature about Schloss Romrod: you can either be married symbolically or clerically with multiple churches right next to the venue. Its gorgeous grounds invite you to roam around and enjoy the day after the wedding with your guests.
Frankfurter Botschaft
If you prefer something more modern and urban, you find the perfect venue with Frankfurter Botschaft. Located right on the harbour in the gorgeour Westend district it offers stylish weddings and a fantastic atmosphere. They also have their very own beach bar where you can dip your toes into sand after saying "I Do". Boat rides on Lake Como are great but how about a boat ride to this venue?
Oosten Frankfurt
In Frankfurt's Eastend which is an up and coming district you will find Oosten. With its mix of glass, steel and exposed concrete, the venue is a real eyecatcher and can be used exclusively for weddings. It overlooks the river Main and was built on old crane vehicle which makes it very unique. The facade of the newly built European Central Bank contributes to the urban vibe you are looking for.
Glaspavillons
Orangeries are where everyone wants to get married at and if you cannot find a specific one you can also set up a glasshouse yourself. There are spaces around Frankfurt where that can be built for you and can be brought to life by professional decorators and florists. Glasshouses give you the opportunity to have a luxury wedding customised to everything you want.
Tents
You usually don't connect tents with exclusive events but gorgeous high, white tents can be absolutely stunning. Think of a "Welcome to the Circus" wedding where you can make your most fantastical dreams come true with entertainers, lights and decor.
Perfekt an Glaspavillons und Zelten ist, dass sie überall aufgestellt werden können, wenn man eine entsprechende Fläche und Genehmigung besitzt.
